Needlefelted Bears & Friends Needlefelting is the process of binding wool fibers together by repeatedly passing a barbed needle through the mass of fibers. The barbs on the needle catch the scales on the fibers causing them to become entangled into an increasingly solid form with each stab of the needle. To create a 3D sculpture can take hours of work and literally thousands of stabs from start to finish. |
